SENIOR APPOINTMENTS DRIVE KERONITE GROWTH

Advanced surface solutions company, Keronite, has strengthened its senior management team as it seeks to bring its ground-breaking technology to new markets during 2015.

Matt Hamblin has been confirmed as chief executive, following a successful interim spell that has seen the business enjoy record growth, while Neil Watson joins the team as business development director, Daniel Boorman takes on the role of production manager and Dan Jones becomes manufacturing engineering manager.

Commenting on the appointments, Matt Hamblin said: “These appointments are a key part of our plan to build on the success of the last 12 months and really develop our market share across a number of important industries.

“As a clean technology, the Keronite process offers a proven, practical and cost-effective solution for components that need to operate in high-performance environments, such as aerospace, automotive, energy and performance sport.

“As business development director, Neil will be tasked with exploiting opportunities presented by new legislation – such as the EU’s REACh directive – helping customers, particularly in the aerospace sector, develop practical and cost-effective solutions for their design challenges.

“Daniel and Dan will also work together to ensure our customers receive the highest level of service from Keronite. Our target markets demand world class performance in Quality, Cost and Delivery and these key appointments demonstrate our determination to achieve this.”

Nick Habgood, managing partner at Azini Capital, the majority shareholder of Keronite, said: “Keronite is an exciting technology that offers customers enhanced material performance at real value for money.

“Over the last few months, the team has gone beyond the call of duty to improve performance, helping us gain real traction in key markets, and I’m looking forward to seeing them build on these   foundations to maximise opportunities over the next 12 months.”

Keronite is the world’s most advanced electro-chemical surface treatment for light alloys.
